BPSSC Bihar Adhinayak Anudeshak Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 122 Posts
Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC), Patna has released the notification for the recruitment of Adhinayak Anudeshak (अधिनायक अनुदेशक) under the Bihar Home Guard Service Cadre. Eligible candidates who are already enrolled as Home Guards and possess an Intermediate (10+2) qualification can apply online from 09 May 2026 to 09 June 2026. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) Examination or equivalent as on 01/08/2025.
- Experience Requirement: Must be an enrolled and trained Home Guard (Male/Female/Third Gender) with at least 5 years of duty/service in the organization.
- Service Limit: Candidates must have at least 10 years of service remaining as on the cut-off date (01/08/2025).
Physical Standards (PMT)
- Height (Male): UR/BC: 165 cm | EBC/SC/ST: 160 cm.
- Height (Female): All Categories: 155 cm.
- Chest (Male Only): UR/BC/EBC: 81-86 cm | SC/ST: 79-84 cm (Minimum 5 cm expansion required).
- Weight (Female Only): Minimum 48 Kg.
Age Limit (As on 01/08/2025)
- Minimum Age Required: 24 Years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 50 Years (For all categories).
Selection Process
- Step 1: Written Examination: 100 Marks Objective Type Test (Matriculation Level). Minimum 30% marks required to qualify for the next round.
- Step 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 100 Marks (Running – 50 Marks, Shot Put – 25 Marks, High Jump – 25 Marks). Final Merit List will be based on the marks obtained in PET.
- Step 3: Document Verification (DV).
- Step 4: Medical Examination & Character Verification.
