Indian Army TGC 144 Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 30 Posts

Indian Army has released the official notification for the 144th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-144) commencing in January 2027 at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Eligible unmarried male Engineering Graduates can apply online from 13 May 2026 to 11 June 2026. Indian Army TGC 144 Vacancy Details (Total: 30 Posts)

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Marital Status: Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of the Engineering Degree course are eligible.
• Final Year Candidates: Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree must submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 Jan 2027.

Age Limit (As on 01/01/2027)

• Minimum Age Required: 20 Years.
• Maximum Age Limit: 27 Years.
• (Candidates born between 02 Jan 2000 and 01 Jan 2007, both dates inclusive).

Selection Process

• Step 1: Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cutoff percentage of marks for each Engineering discipline/stream.
• Step 2: SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the SSB Interview (Stage I & Stage II) which lasts for 5 days.
• Step 3: Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination.
• Step 4: Final Merit List: Merit list will be prepared engineering stream-wise based on the marks obtained by the candidate at SSB interview.
