MPPSC Assistant Town Planner Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 39 Vacancies

MPPSC Assistant Town Planner Vacancy Details 2026

A total of 39 posts are available for the Assistant Town Planner position. The category-wise vacancy distribution is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning (4 Years duration) from a recognized institute.
• OR a Master’s Degree (M.Plan) in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Transport Planning, Environmental Planning, Housing, Infrastructure, etc., or have passed the AITP Examination.
• Note: B.E. or M.E. degrees in Traffic and Transport are not valid for this recruitment.
• Candidates from other states are exempted from employment registration; however, MP domicile candidates must produce a valid employment registration certificate at the time of the interview.

Age Limit (As on 01/01/2027)

• Minimum Age Required: 21 Years.
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Madhya Pradesh Government rules, up to a maximum limit of 45 years for reserved categories and women.

Selection Process

• The selection will be based on an OMR-based Objective Type Written Examination.
• There will be a provision for Negative Marking in the examination.
• Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for an Interview (3 times the number of vacancies).
