South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur Division has released the notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act 1961. Eligible candidates who have passed Class 10th and hold an ITI certificate can apply online from 12 May 2026 to 11 June 2026. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks.
- Technical Qualification: Must have passed the ITI course in relevant trades from a recognized institution.
Age Limit (As on 11/06/2026)
- Minimum Age Required: 15 Years.
- Maximum Age Limit: 24 Years.
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules (SC/ST – 5 Years, OBC – 3 Years, PWD/ExSM – 10 Years).
Selection Process
- Step 1: Preparation of Merit List: No written examination or interview will be conducted. The selection will be based strictly on a Merit List. The merit list is prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation (10th) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
- Step 2: Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on merit will be called for document verification.
- Step 3: Medical Examination: Selected candidates must submit a medical certificate signed by a Government authorized Doctor (Gazetted) before final engagement.
