Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has released the official notification for the Hawaldar Instructor (हवलदार प्रशिक्षक) Main Examination (PET-2025)/12 under the Home Guard Headquarters, UP. Eligible candidates holding a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 Scorecard can apply online from 19 June 2026 to 09 July 2026. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• PET Requirement: Candidates must have appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and hold a valid scorecard with a positive (>0) normalized score.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) Examination from a recognized board (For unpaid departmental employees, High School pass is required).

Physical Standards & Efficiency Test (PMT & PET)

• Height (Male): Gen/OBC/SC: 167.7 cm | ST: 160 cm | Hilly Area: 162.6 cm.
• Chest (Male Only): Gen/OBC/SC: 78.8 to 83.8 cm | ST & Hilly Area: 76.5 to 81.5 cm.
• Height (Female): Gen/OBC/SC: 152 cm | ST & Hilly Area: 147 cm.
• Running (PET): Male: 4.8 km in 25 Minutes | Female: 2.4 km in 14 Minutes.

Age Limit (As on 01/01/2026)

• Minimum Age Required: 18 Years.
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per Uttar Pradesh Government Rules.

Selection Process

• Step 1: Written Examination (Main Exam).
• Step 2: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying Nature.
• Step 3: Document Verification (DV).
• Step 4: Medical Examination.
